How Much Will It Cost?
» Since Hurricane Irma struck in 2017, the City of Key Colony Beach, FL (pop. 758), has planned to foist a new (now) more than $19 million city hall on its residents. Now, almost six years later, the city commission has voted to accept a bid from H-O-B to replace the city's Marble Hall, community center, and its offices, and post office with the sprawling edifice known as the "Taj ma-KCB."
» At different times sunce 2017, commissioners and the city administrator have told newspapers that the Taj ma-KCB will cost alternately Two-point-three, Five, Six, Eight, Nine, or even Ten Million Dollars. (Commissioner Harding stated that if the cost went over $8 million, "We couldn't afford it.") We now estimate the finshed cost will be NINETEEN POINT EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS.
