
Since 2017, the City of Key Colony Beach, FL (pop.
792758), has planned to build a new LIVS-designed city hall complex with a price that started at "two or three million dollars, all paid by FEMA," which grew to five million, then to six million, to ten million, and now to an estimated fourteen million dollars and still growing, almost entirely paid by KCB taxpayers. This edifice was popularly known around town as the "Taj ma-KCB." and sometimes the "Taj ma-CITY HALL."In the City of Key Colony Beach, the LDR are the "Land Development Regulations," the house and building rules churned out by the city based loosely on the city ordinances.
