Secrecy, Spin, Cover-ups and Obfuscation

Secrecy:
City officials refused to make the bid package public. "There are parts of the building that we're required to hide for security reasons."
Do they really think every ditch digger, mason, carpenter, and electrician doing the construction will have a security clearance? Some of them won't even have green cards.

Read the newspaper articles and ask yourself why the city commission really refused to get bids to repair city hall.

Obfuscation:
Did the city commission really think their Risk Assessment wouldn't see the light of day? Or that we wouldn't find out about their efforts to cover up the lack of damage there?
