Below are my notes used for addressing the KCB City Commission Special Meeting held 2/26/25 under the Citizen Comments agenda item (response to Freddie Foster's request to put my thoughts in writing for the record).

Concept 2 is best.

• The Admin area is on the first floor. It belongs there.
• Eliminate the private bathrooms for the admin area.
• Eiminate the exercise room including its restroom and shower. Low use and usually at night. Why are showers and lockers there for the exercise room - users live very close by.
• Put the police above the admin area. Consider adding one small bathroom upstairs (shared male and female).
• Minimize the lobby space. The lobby adds no value. The upstairs lobby looks as big as the downstairs.
• Avoid extending the new addition beyond the east wall of the existing building.
• Why is a temporary police trailer shown on the drawing? If there needs to be one, it should be placed where the existing admin trailer is or where the temporary post office was.
• Traffic circulation during construction?

I was glad to hear that most of my concerns had already been picked up by the commission and appreciated the feedback overall. The tone of the meeting was very positive and I absolutely support the results from the meeting.
